A Los Angles tradition during the Chinese New Year, the famous Golden Dragon Parade celebrates its 119th anniversary. In 1898, the iconic Chinese New year lion dance was performed for the first time during L.A.’s Annual La Fiesta Parade. The parade route goes through downtown Chinatown where thousands of spectators will be lined up to see the beautifully decorated floats and colorful dragons. The Chinese New Year Festival is open all weekend and offers live entertainment, delicious food, and exciting interactive displays.
