Since wine tasting is suppose to be a relaxing, forgetting  these items will greatly enhance your day of scents and smells during wine tasting for you and others around.  You may also want to avoid eating mints and gum chewing during tasting as to not alter how wine will taste or avoid every wine tasting the same.
