PROM NIGHT SAFETY TIP
Getting ready for the prom can be pretty exciting, but for one teen in Massachusetts, it was downright scary. Kathleen Garvey was trying to attach a flower onto her boyfriend's jacket and held the pin in her mouth while she got the boutonniere in place. Her boyfriend made her laugh and that caused her to inhale the pin.
Unsure of what happened since she didn't feel any pain, Kathleen though she just lost the pin and went to the prom. The next day, she headed to the hospital just as a precaution and an X-ray showed the pin in her lungs.
